Protect Your Online Assets

Simon and I decided to release a new product we'd had in the works this year using Clickbank.com as the payment processing gateway to accept orders.

Since Clickbank gateway integration was recently added as a new feature this spring with MemberSpeed we thought it would be a great way to do a live case study with it.

Here\'s what we did...

The product teaches business owners online how to better protect themselves from potential risks and legal issues.

Since our own lawyers have been so helpful to us for many years we thought who better to do it with then them, the true experts.

I should also mention that they have many high end clients and Garrett is a member of the State Bars of California and Nevada, he's also a member of the American Bar Association.

He's also a Rich Dad's Advisor, the author of seven best selling books and advises some very famous people.

So we talked with Garrett and Catherine and they agreed to help with the project.

We interviewed them, recorded it and then had transcripts made.

For recording the call we used a free conference line but we have also used skype with Pamela software many times in the past as well.

To edit the call we had our audio specalist do it but you could also do this on your own using Audacity software for example.

For transcribing the audio into word and pdf format we had our usual transcript team do it. But you could find fairly low cost services out there to do transcriptions as well.

The key is once you find someone good - keep them on your team to save time looking around the next time you need them.

Sutlaw then provided a great set of instant legal pages that customers can use on their own sites.

We then put together a software program that lets you just fill in the blanks and it spits out the pages ready made to use on your own sites.

While we could easily charge a few hundred dollars for this information we have priced it low for now so we can help out as many as possible.

Setting up the site was a breeze. Our techies installed memberspeed software on the domain we told them to.

We then had our editor check all the legal pages, event mailers and system variables.

Then Simon added the sales page and I uploaded the products and edited up the member area.

While Simon is an experienced copywriter and a very good one at that, you could hire pretty good writers for just a few hundred dollars sometimes.

In fact, Simon was actually pretty busy so we hired the sales copy out this time and then Simon tweaked it up and added the graphics and template style.

You can get templates already made fairly cheap and use images from istockphoto for your graphics and edit it all in adobe photoshop yourself or hire it out.

Clickbank approved the product and it is now selling well.

It was a team effort but of course everything could be done by one person if you are working by yourself.

We've had many customers ask us if they could use our legal pages on our sites over time. Plus we've see legal issues come up online and many sites not abiding by any rules.

We wanted to better educate online businesses as well as our customers on how to protect themselves legally.

We out tasked most of the site set up and management of the site.It now runs on autopilot

Program as well so that all customers or even just anyone who wants to promote it can sign up, add their clickbank username and promote it.
Already about 30% of the sales are coming from affiliates and it is all through Clickbank
